Hi tecnolovers ;
We have learned how to measure the resistance, voltage and current in real circuit. In this post we'll show you how to do it.

MEASURE VOLTAGE (V)
To measure voltage we use a multimeter.

When the circuit is connected and closed, you must put the ends of the multimeter in the corresponding wires of the circuit. For example:

To measure Vr1: You put the ends of the multimeter on each side of the resistor without opening the circuit.

MEASURE CURRENT (I):
We also use the multimeter but this time we open the circuit so that the current can pass through the end of the mutimeter, making it part of the circuit, in a way.

MEASURE RESISTANCE (R):
To measure or calculate the value of a resistor we look at the coloured lines it has. Always put the gold or silver line to the right side, this indicates the percentage of the value.
To calculate the total resistance:
SERIES: Rt = R1+R2
PARALELL: 1/Rt = 1/R1 + 1/R2

Here is a table to learn how to calculate the vaules.

Google glasses

Hi technolovers!
Today, we're going to make a post about...

Google Glass photo.JPG
GOOGLE GLASSES
These new glasses are Google's new invention. Google Glasses display information in the same way that a smartphone does, but you do not need to use your hands to opperate it. You can use them to send messages or play music. It also works as a navigation device.

With multiple colors, shades, frames and earbuds. Glasses are designed to fit your lifestyle.

While wearing them you can connect to the internet via voice commands and simple body language.

It has 3 basic features:

  • TOUCHPAD: There is a touchpad located on the side of the frame, users can control it by moving the digital panels displayed on the screen with their finger like a smartphone.

  • CAMERA: Google glasses have the ability to take pictures and record HD video

  • DISPLAY: The screen provides LED light which is reflected off  the glass and lets the user see both the image made by Google glasses and the real image or landscape.

You can read more about it in Wikipedia or at the google glasses webpage.

Hi tecnholovers!
We are Elisa and Dana, two students at IES Jaime Ferrán, in a city near Madrid. We're doing this blog as a
project in our class, 3ºD ESO.
So, we aren't going to write about us in this blog. It's just a project and it won't last for very long. At the end of this school year, the blog will be shut down.
We'll see you in the next posts.
BYE!
